News is very important to everyone around the world because everyday and every time there will always got a news about what's happening around us and the world. People who don't read newspaper or watch news on TV, I can say that they are not aware and don't really bother to know what's happening around them. Newspaper and TV are very strong sources that people seek for an update and information. Newspaper as we know, Its been exists a long time ago before television exist. So people will seek for information and news from newspaper more than TV because not everyone will have the time to watch TV unless they are housewives or unemployed workers.
As for me being a student, news are very important for me because I can know what's happening today around the world. TV is the easier way for me to watch news because as a student you will not have time to stop by at nearest store to buy a newspaper due to you will busy with class and assignments. TV is much better to seek for news because every 8pm there will a news slot on TV so at that time the only free time for most of the student to watch news because usually student don't have a night class. Both of these media form is actually providing the same content such as politics, sports, entertainment, events, and sometime to promote something. The different is only newspaper in printed media so all news is in words but TV is by a professional presenter that will highlight all the news for that day.
As a student, you also will not have time to watch TV due to lots of assignments, so the other media that I used to search for information and latest news is from Internet. It's also one of the media forms that I always use as a student. So, in that way, if I don't have time to watch TV, I will just read the news through the Internet. In this modern era, everything is in our hand. There's a lot of online news such as thestar.com.my, www.utusan.com.my so it's easy for people who miss to buy the newspaper or miss to watch the news on TV. So, although these two media
form are very different and have their own loyal 'fans' but that is not
important. What is more important is, the content, news, information that they
want to deliver to people and people who care updates around the world.
